Hurricane Safety for Californians
While California is susceptible to many natural disasters, hurricanes are not typically one of them. Although this is true, it is still important to remember all the necessary precautions suggested for any natural disaster. Knowing how and where to turn off your propane supply, having an emergency preparedness plan that you share with your family, and understanding the importance of keeping outdoor propane appliances where they belong are just a few of the precautions to keep in mind. The Propane Education and Research Council have put together two safety guides for homeowners and propane users that live in areas effected by hurricanes. Use the links below to find out more information about propane safety before, during, and after a hurricane.
