Propane is capable of powering many different products across many different industries. The main use for propane still lies with residential consumers; families who choose propane to power their homes. Along with being an affordable, environmentally friendly fuel used for home heating and cooking, residential customers can also use propane to power their dryers, water heaters, and stand-by generators. Home owners and renters are not the only customers the propane industry is able to satisfy, propane can also be used in applications like vehicles, farming equipment, and for commercial use. Ranchers and farmers have been taking advantage of propane’s clean and efficient nature for decades – using our fuel to power irrigation engines, as a source for grain drying, and to heat buildings. Likewise, fleets and commercial customers have powered both over-the-road and off-road vehicles, forklifts, and mowers for many years.

Irrigation Engines
Farmers rely on dependable irrigation systems to keep their crops watered throughout the day and night. Propane is the smart choice when it comes to cost, efficiency, and environmental impact of irrigation engines. Concerns about “peak hours,” with electric equipment are a thing of the past when running irrigation engines on propane, as the time of day does not create any price fluctuation. Another propane perk is that particulate filters and special fluids required of diesel engines are not required for cleaner-burning propane engines. This saves on money and time for farm owners. Farmers are saving up to 50% by switching to low-maintenance, propane-powered engines. This is just another example of why propane is the way to go!
Flaming Products

Propane cylinders will keep your forklifts running safely and efficiently.
Electric forklifts, operating on a charged battery means that it is slowly going to degrade in performance starting the minute the forklift is turned on. In fact, the lifespan of an electric battery is 3x less than that of a propane cylinder. A propane cylinder provides sustained and consistent performance until replacement time. Changing-out a cylinder is quick and easy, with no need for “charge time” as with electric models. Another downside to electric is the increased cost compared to propane. Gasoline and diesel forklifts can only be used outdoors due to the high emissions of carbon monoxide. Propane, on the other hand is safe for indoor and outdoor use as long as they are maintained properly and operated in a well-ventilated area. For a low emission and cost-efficient option for your forklifts, propane is the way to go.
